  • Hmmmmmm...so, today I decided to open a shop at Folksy.com : http://folksy.com/shops/bebopgirl1969jewelry . I'm not really sold on it with my first listing, tho. I have cropped my photos down to the size it lists and it is *still* cropping them. Anyone have a shop on there, or any experience with it? If so, have any photo hints? It doesn't seem to let you click for a full view, a la etsy, so I'm just left with partial photos of my necklace. Not great.

no, I just still have the antique booth that I share with my sister and we are doing well, like yesterday at the mall you won't even know that their is a recession cause so many people shopping.

Hi, Elizabeth.  I wish you well on that site.  I looked, however, and wasn't able to bring up your shop.  You might want to look into that.  I was on a second site too, but I found it too time consuming to keep up with it and Etsy too.  Good luck!

@jojobaDESIGNS - LOL--I believe it--half the time it won't let me sign in and tells me I'm not a registered user. It is a *horrible* site. It only cost about 30cents to list the one necklace that I did, so I may just pull it and accept that loss...

@bebopgirl1969 - Well, there's no harm trying.  I tried LaWanda, but had only one sale, ever.

Did you ever hear back from the people who ordered all of those necklaces a while back?  I remember your writing about packing up a box.

I hope you and your husband are doing well, and that you're enjoying a beautiful spring day.  :)

@jojobaDESIGNS - Yeah--I had a look at Dawanda--but if you live in Europe they want your bank account details, which I was not wanting to give out!

I never heard back from--or got any feedback from--that big order. I think someone must have been ordering stuff for a booth or store or craft fair or something...but at least tney ordered a lot and paid right away...

It has been sunny and nice here--yay! :) Hope you are doing well too (I really need to get blogging back as part of my schedule...)
